Ward's home is on the "high" desert in Central Oregon, but he is "on the road" most of the time... Ward learned how to make flutes by taking Tobacco (this is how one asks properly) to a respected flute maker, and asking to learn the Ancient Wisdom, Ward's flutes are some of the most beautiful Native American Style Flutes found today, and they are always made in "the good way" ... Ward is also a very accomplished "Shakuhachi" (Japanese Flute) Player and has studied for many years...
A personal note...
It means so much to me to be carrying the Native American Style Flute, to be a Yaqui, and to be a part of Mother Earth and all my relations, next to being my childrens father, these are my greatest honors. I have met so many incredible people on my path as a "FluteMan". I am beyond grateful. -ward

Released in 1994 Rhythm Quest Vol. 1 is Ward's first volume of original flute compositions. Using his own inner rhythms and melodies he has woven a special collection of music that is meant to both please and inspire all those who wish to experience the magic of the Native American Flute. The inspiration for his music comes from a variety of sources; sunsets, starry skies, the love of children, even a whale in the throes of dying. All were inspired by The Great Spirit and it is with deepest respect that Ward offers this gift of music to All Relations.
